Welcome to the traditional S/S Wenno!

Steamship cruises summer 2023 on Mondays 3.7., 10.7., 17.7., 24.7. ja 31.7. 18:00-19.30. There will be also a special moonlight cruise 1.9. 19:00-22:00.

Our ship leaves the port of Puumala at 19:00 and returns to the same place at around 22:00 - as it travels with the power of steam, it is not exactly to the minute.

The ship can accommodate 99 passengers. There is a cafe in Wenno's hold, where you can get coffee, buns and some refreshments. The ship also has a toilet.

We also welcome kind dogs - although the departure and return whistles of Wenno's whistle may be a test for the dog's ears.

We ask that you dress according to the weather, your own seat cushions are also welcome, because when weather permitting, we travel on deck.

If you buy tickets of different price groups at once, add them to the shopping cart one ticket category at a time, and finally go to the checkout.

After paying, you will receive a QR code by e-mail, which will be displayed on your smart device (or printed) when boarding the ship.

We recommend pre-booking in the online store well in advance, as Wenno's traditional cruises are popular and often sold out. You can buy tickets in the online store no later than 2 hours before departure. A limited number of tickets are also available from the ship (cash/card) subject to availability.

S/S Wenno (formerly Wetehinen) is an iron-hulled tar steamer. It is the only existent iron-hulled steam pilot from former Saimaa's large tar steam fleet. The S/S Wenno is almost in its 1930s appearance, has an original steam engine and is in the Finnish Museum Agency's heritage ship register.
