A cosy little red 'grandma's cottage' is located in Juva, about ten kilometres from the Juva-Savonlinna road 14, in a traditional Finnish countryside setting near Lake Melanen.

The Squirrel Route kayaking route runs past the cottage www.oravareitti.fi. The holiday home is available for holidaymakers from May to the end of September. The cottage has two bedrooms, each with beds for two people. The cottage has hot water, no dishwasher. There is a fireplace and a baking oven in the living room. There is a toilet and shower in the cottage. There is a summer house in the yard, which can be used as a sleeping area in the summer, beds for four people.

The summer kitchen has a gas stove, fireplace and barbecue and room for a larger group to enjoy the evening. There is a wood-burning sauna by the lake. The water boiler is heated by the stove in the sauna, water comes from cottage’s own well. There is also a barbecue shelter by the sauna and a boat for fishing on the lake.

You can go jogging and cycling in the surrounding countryside. Berry picking and mushroom picking are possible in the nearby forests.
