Mäntyharju Tourist Information
Mäntyharju is an advanced rural parish in eastern Finland and a lively Savo border parish. The municipality contains the border market of the three tribes from Häme, Savo and Karelia. The modern-day Mäntyharju residents are mostly descended from the Savo tribe.
Some of the services are of a city standard and will satisfy the needs of local residents and tourists alike. Today, Mäntyharju is home to about 6,500 people. The lively central conurbation includes several banks, restaurants, an Alko, a health centre and a wide range of shopping services. There are more than 4,500 residents in the centre.
